Life is full of surprises, unexpected changes, and the need to juggle multiple goals that sometimes conflict.  I've experienced this myself firsthand.  

I actually began my adult journey as a physical therapist.  But as the job market was thin and I found myself in a job that I no longer enjoyed, I realized that a change was needed.  That realization led me to working in the finance sector as a trust administrator and ultimately back to school.  This time for a law degree.

I entered NKU's Chase School of Law on a full academic scholarship as a young, married, night-student while still juggling a job during the day.  Knowing that I'd prefer not to interrupt my legal career with building a family, I decided to have children while in law school, with my husband agreeing to be a stay-at-home dad.  I had my first child in my second year of law school, and my second was born within weeks of receiving my juris doctorate, graduating magna cum laude.  While taking the bar exam with a nursing baby was a challenge, it was well worth it!

In the past twenty years, I have met clients from all walks of life, and I have worked with many attorneys that I greatly admire.  In fact, I still work as co-counsel with my longest standing and favorite mentor that gave me my first job as an attorney.  

Over the course of my career, I have earned my specialist certification in estate planning, trusts and estates, and I have expanded my practice into tax planning, tax representation, and business formation and succession planning.  I am licensed to practice in Ohio and Kentucky.   

I approach each new case like an exciting puzzle that can be organized and developed into a new beautiful picture.
